Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care to neonates in the NICU.
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitoring vital signs and other physiological parameters.
- Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Educating parents and families about their infant's condition and care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Neonatal Intensive Care experience (specific experience level not stated).
