Schedule: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 16:30), Monday Friday. On-call required (every 3rd weekend + 2 weekday evenings until 22:00).

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to join the Radiology/Cardiology team at Providence Health & Services. The technologist will perform advanced echocardiographic studies, including adult and specialty cardiac imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results in both acute and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily echocardiography procedures including Adult Echo, Bubble Study, 3-D Echo, M-Mode, TEE, RVIT/RVOT imaging, and Treadmill Stress Echo.
Conduct portable studies across units including ER, ICU, and acute care.
Ensure accurate imaging and documentation in alignment with physician orders and facility protocols.
Provide coverage in the Cath Lab as needed and collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
Participate in on-call rotation (every 3rd weekend + 2 weekday evenings until 22:00).
Manage an average caseload of 16 studies per day.
Adhere to compliance standards and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Echo Tech in acute and outpatient care.
Must have prior travel experience.
Community hospital experience preferred.
Ability to handle high-volume caseloads independently.
Comfortable using Philips equipment.
Flexibility to work on-call shifts and occasional weekends.
Must be able to guarantee hours with potential facility call-off once per pay period.
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience in adult cardiac imaging.
Prior travel assignment experience required.
License/Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.
CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Required.
Active California State License Required.
National registry certification Required.
Skills:
Core: Adult Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT/RVOT, TEE, Stress Echo.
Preferred: Change Health, Cath Lab experience.
Work Settings: Adult acute care, outpatient, ER, ICU.
Equipment: Philips systems proficiency required.
